Cherry blossom, captured in bloom
The BUNGUBOX x Esterbrook Kachofugetsu Flower is a limited-edition fountain pen created in collaboration with Kaoru, the artist behind BUNGUBOX. It is part of the Kachofugetsu series, inspired by a Japanese expression that brings together four symbols of nature: flower, bird, wind and moon. This first release takes its inspiration from the Someiyoshino cherry tree in full bloom.
Floral details throughout
The semi-translucent, crackled pink acrylic body reveals the included converter, decorated with a cherry blossom motif. The gold-plated nib is engraved with the Japanese character for “flower”, complemented by gold-plated trim.
A distinctive Estie
This collaboration brings Esterbrook’s classic pen design together with BUNGUBOX’s Japanese artistic perspective. It comes in specially designed packaging and is available in a choice of nib sizes, subject to availability.
Please note: this model does not include the Cushion-Cap closure found on other Estie fountain pens. Esterbrook says it still provides a proper seal to keep the nib wet and meets the brand’s quality standards.
