The Montegrappa Automobili Lamborghini Miura Fountain Pen, Black is a collector's writing instrument created to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, the car that invented the super sports car. Radical engineering, visionary technology and timeless design come together in an exclusive limited edition of just 60 fountain pens in black, made in Italy by Montegrappa under official licence from Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A.
Sixty years of an icon
The collection has 60 fountain pens and 60 rollerballs in each of the three colours of the original Miura: Black, Verde Miura and Giallo Fly. Each piece comes in exclusive packaging, a collectible tribute for both pen enthusiasts and automotive lovers.
Legendary design in every detail
Every element of the Montegrappa Lamborghini Miura fountain pen recalls the Miura's bodywork. The end cap is inspired by the engine's distinctive "Venetian" grille. Shimmering metal fittings and the slats on the clip and cap band echo the car's famous lines. No detail is left to chance.
An irresistible blink: the pop-up headlight
The highlight of the collection is the retractable rock crystal headlight at the top of the cap. It sits on an engraved base that copies the texture of the original Miura lamp. A refined tactile push-button mechanism recreates the car's famous headlight opening movement, so the pen holds a small piece of automotive engineering.
The seal: an 18K gold nib
The Automobili Lamborghini shield is engraved on the 18K gold nib with ruthenium plating and is also applied to the barrel. It brings together the innovation and craftsmanship behind the long collaboration between Montegrappa, Italy's oldest pen maker (founded in 1912), and the Sant'Agata Bolognese marque. The nib comes in Extra Fine (EF), Fine (F), Medium (M) and Broad (B) to suit your handwriting.
Cartridge and converter filling
The pen fills by cartridge or converter, and 2 black ink cartridges and a converter are included. You can use the practical cartridges or fill from a bottle with the full range of Montegrappa inks.
