Esterbrook x Accutron Spaceview Estie Fountain Pen: the mechanics on display
In 1960, the Accutron Spaceview changed how people looked at a watch by placing its inner workings at the center of the design. The newest collaboration between Esterbrook and Accutron carries that idea into the Estie: a transparent fountain pen that allows its construction to be seen from every angle.
Esterbrook's first demonstrator Estie
The Spaceview is the first transparent demonstrator Estie produced by Esterbrook. Its polished acrylic cap and barrel reveal the threads, connectors, filling system and internal writing components that are usually concealed.
A demonstrator is a pen with a transparent or semi-transparent body. Originally used by pen makers to show off internal mechanics, demonstrators are now prized by collectors for putting a pen's construction on display.

- Accutron green grip: acrylic in the signature color of the Spaceview watch.

This pen is fitted with a JoWo #6 nib featuring custom Accutron tuning fork branding, keeping the smooth, consistent writing quality Estie owners expect. Thanks to Esterbrook's interchangeable nib system, switching between nib sizes and types is easy. Available in Extra-Fine (EF), Fine (F), Medium (M), Broad (B) and STUB 1.1.
It features Esterbrook's cushion-cap closure and fills with a cartridge or converter, a system that is also visible through the transparent barrel.
