To celebrate the sixtieth anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura, the world's first super sports car, Montegrappa and Automobili Lamborghini join forces once again. The result is an exclusive edition of just sixty fountain pens in Giallo Fly, the bright yellow of the original car, a writing instrument that turns the power and elegance of the Miura into a unique writing experience.

A legend reinterpreted in every detail

This is not a miniature car in the shape of a pen. Montegrappa reinterprets the Miura with a streamlined silhouette and details taken from the original:

• End cap inspired by the engine's distinctive “Venetian grille”.
• Clip and cap band that recall the iconic slats of the car.
• Metal fittings in stainless steel that contrast with the yellow barrel.
• Aluminium barrel painted in Giallo Fly, one of the original colours of the Miura.

The retractable rock crystal headlight

The most exclusive detail of the collection sits on the cap: a miniature headlight in rock crystal resting on an engraved base that reproduces the texture of the original lamp. A refined tactile push-button mechanism recreates the famous movement of the Miura's retractable headlight.

18K gold nib with the Lamborghini shield

The fountain pen is fitted with a custom 18K gold nib (Ø 6 mm) with ruthenium plating, engraved with the Automobili Lamborghini shield, and an ebonite feeder. The same shield is applied to the barrel. It is available in EF, F, M, B and Stub 1.1, and fills with cartridge or converter (two cartridges and a converter included).

Limited and numbered edition

Each pen is numbered out of 60 and the number is engraved on the end cap. The Miura collection is available in three colours inspired by the original car, Nero, Giallo Fly and Verde Miura, in both fountain pen and rollerball versions. This listing is the Giallo Fly fountain pen.

Presented in a case inspired by the Miura's interior

Every pen comes in a custom-made case in lacquered wood and genuine leather, with a design inspired by the iconic seats and interiors of the Miura. It is a collector's piece ready to be given or kept.

Technical specifications

Small colour variations are a natural result of the artisanal manufacturing process. Lighter colours may exhibit slight transparency.
